People are served at 200% of the poverty guideline, with exceptions made based on extenuating circumstances.

To be served in the food pantry at NECM:

A) Must live on the NE Side of Grand Rapids, within our serving area. Bring in proof of NE address for every adult in the household.

B) If ID is outdated with current NE address, a utility bill or current and official piece of mail can be shown (less than 30 days old.

C) Bring in last 4 numbers of everyone in family social security numbers.

D) Birth Certificates, school records or immunization records for children to prove they live in the household

E) If on medicaid, participants are automatically eligible, otherwise if they work outside the home a paycheck stub will suffice or proof of assistance, such as a declaration page of aid to prove they are at 200% of poverty guideline.
